IK strengthens its approach to capital markets appointing Thierry Aoun as Capital Markets Director

IK Investment Partners (“IK”), a leading Pan-European private equity firm, is pleased to announce that Thierry Aoun has joined the Firm as Director and Head of Capital Markets. Thierry will be based in IK’s London office and will be responsible for new acquisition financing and capital market activities for IK’s portfolio companies.

With a history spanning over 30 years, IK has established itself as a leader in European private equity, investing into high-potential enterprises and working actively with management teams to grow their companies into better businesses. The appointment of Thierry Aoun is part of IK’s effort to strengthen its approach to debt in existing portfolio companies and new investments. By enhancing its focus on capital structure improvements, IK will be able to better support its portfolio companies and management teams.

Thierry has substantial experience in capital markets, acquired over more than a decade working in banking and investment management. He joins IK from KKR where he was a Principal focusing on private credit and capital markets activities. Prior to KKR, he worked at J.P. Morgan, where he was actively involved in leveraged loans and high yield transactions for private equity and corporate clients. Thierry holds a MSc in Management from HEC Paris.
