Industri Kapital announces European promotions

Industri Kapital is pleased to announce the promotion of seven members of the IK team:

Dan Soudry, French team, to Deputy Director
Helena Stjernholm, Swedish team, to Deputy Director
Rémi Buttiaux, French team, to Associate Director
Klaus de Vibe, Danish/Norwegian team, to Associate Director
Kristian Kemppinen, Finnish team, to Associate Director
Anders Petersson, German team, to Associate Director
Caspar von Meibom, German team, to Associate Director

Björn Savén, Chief Executive of Industri Kapital, commented: “The promotion of these professionals recognises their strong contribution to IK during this successful year for us, where we have announced 3 investments and 7 realisations so far.”

Dan Soudry (French) joined the firm in 2003. Prior to joining Industri Kapital he worked as part of the LBO team at ABN AMRO Capital in Paris. From 1998 to 2001, Mr. Soudry worked for KPMG Corporate Finance in Paris and from 1994 to 1997 he worked in the Corporate Banking Department of Paribas in Paris. Mr. Soudry graduated from l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in 1993, having majored in Law, Tax and Finance. Additionally, he earned a postgraduate degree (DESS) in Law and Tax from Paris La Sorbonne in 1994.

Helena Stjernholm (Swedish) joined the firm in 1998. Between 1996 and 1998, Ms. Stjernholm worked as management consultant for Bain & Company in Stockholm. She holds an MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from the Stockholm School of Economics.

Rémi Buttiaux (French) joined Industri Kapital in 2001. From 1999 to 2001, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in London, after spending one year at Paribas Affaires Industrielles (PAI) in Paris. Mr. Buttiaux graduated in 1999 from l’Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) in Paris with a major in Finance.

Klaus de Vibe (Norwegian) joined the firm in 2002. From 1999 to 2001, he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in London. Mr. de Vibe holds an MSc. (Econ.) with major in finance from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration.

Kristian Kemppinen (Finnish) joined Industri Kapital in 2001. He previously worked in corporate finance for Mandatum & Co in Helsinki. Mr. Kemppinen holds an MSc. (Econ.) with major in finance from Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration.

Anders Petersson (Swedish) joined the firm in 2002. From 1999 to 2002 he worked in the Investment Banking Division of JP Morgan in London. Mr. Petersson holds an MSc. in Economics and Business Administration from Uppsala University.

Caspar von Meibom (German) joined Industri Kapital in 2002, prior to which he worked in the Investment Banking Division of Goldman Sachs in Frankfurt. Mr. von Meibom graduated from the EAP-European School of Management (Paris-Oxford-Berlin) in 1999 with a European Master in Management (EMIM), a Diplôme Grande Ecole and a (German) Diploma in Business Administration.
