New Director in Industri Kapital’s Swedish team

Industri Kapital, a leading European private equity firm, announces that it has strengthened its Swedish operations with the recruitment of a new Director in Stockholm.

Industri Kapital is pleased to announce that Samir Kamal will join the firm in mid-August 2004 as Director Sweden, and will be responsible for sourcing and managing new investments in the Swedish market. Samir Kamal joins Industri Kapital from Carnegie where he has held a senior position responsible for business origination and project management in the Investment Banking division.

Samir Kamal is 39 years old, educated at Imperial College, London (B.Sc.) and at Stockholm School of Economics (M.Sc.) and has spent nine years with Carnegie. Prior to joining Carnegie, he worked for Enskilda Securities for two years.

Christian Salamon will concentrate his efforts on the current Swedish portfolio as well as further developing the Industri Kapital sector and business strategic approach together with Gerard De Geer.
